Job Description

Title: Director of Procurement


Location: Denver, CO


Salary: Competitive


A well-established company with a broad portfolio in mechanical/electrical manufacturing is looking for a Director of Procurement. This person will lead a team of direct reports and be responsible for vendor management, sourcing initiatives, and following up with suppliers.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement sourcing processes across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Mitigate risk and achieve cost savings through supplier negotiations.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost-savings targets.
  • Manage a team of direct reports.


Requirements:

  • Previous success in team leadership functions.
  • Masters preferred.
  • Strong experience with supplier development.
  • 10+ years of experience within sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Bachelor’s degree within Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field necessary.
  • Both direct and indirect procurement experience.
