    The City of Commerce City is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join out team as the IT Deputy Director. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our IT department, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of our technological infrastructure. As the IT Deputy Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing our technology operations, overseeing a team of IT professionals, and implementing strategic IT initiatives. Working closely with the IT Director and senior management, you will ensure the smooth functioning of our technology systems in the City. The ideal candidate for this position is a dynamic leader with a strong technical background, excellent managerial skills, and a passion for driving innovation.

    Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
    The hiring range is $147,857 - $174,143 annual ($71.09 - $83.72/hr)

    PAID TIME-OFF BENEFITS:

    • Other Paid Time Off Jury Duty, Injury Leave, and Military leave are also available to employees.
    • General Leave: Leave banks are granted to employees after six months of full-time employment. General Leave may be used for vacations, personal business, illness, or other reasons as requested by the employee and approved by his/her supervisor.

    • Tuition Reimbursement: The City provides a tuition reimbursement program that reimburses qualified educational expenses.
    • Personal Computer Employee Purchase Program: To encourage the development of employee computer skills, the City offers an interest-free loan to you for the purchase of computer hardware (including a Desktop or Laptop) and software. The employee must have successfully completed their 6-month Introductory Period for eligibility.
    • Eligibility for Pay Increases: Employees are eligible for a pay increase during their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation. Pay increases do not come at the time of the six-month introductory evaluation.
    • Employee Home Ownership Program: To encourage employees to reside within the City limits of Commerce City, we may provide a secured loan for the down payment and/or closing cost assistance on a home in Commerce City. The employee must meet all City criteria as well as first mortgage underwriting criteria.
