Main Objective:

DIFF is looking for a digital designer that has a passion to continually seek out creative inspiration and present new ideas / new techniques of design and keeps relevant to current and upcoming trends in Graphic Design, Digital Media, and the Retail/Fashion industry as a whole.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with our Senior Designer and marketing team to create compelling and effective designs for Print Collateral, Packaging, paid media channels and Social Media platforms. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the look and feel of the DIFF brand online and through printed assets.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the marketing team to develop and maintain the look and feel of the DIFF brand online and in print as well as create and maintaining style guides/internal creative documentation.

• Deliver creative assets for DIFFs digital channels; web, social media (IG), apps, banners, emails, social tiles etc.

• Manage the UI/UX designs for the DIFF brands websites including any new web designs that need to be created.

• Be a production resource for image retouching, frame/lens recoloring, cropping for E-Comm/IG etc.

• Pull inspiration to build mood boards that visually explore digital new user experiences and creative content such as web updates and photo shoot inspiration.

• Create assets for trade show and booth marketing (Agenda, Magic, etc).

What you’ll need:

• 2-4 Years of design experience within the digital and retail industry

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to organically and successfully work and collaborate as part of a team

• Confidence in design, aesthetic, and presentation of work/concept

• The ability to utilize creative problem solving to calmly handle stressful situations or last minute time restraints without letting personal aesthetics and ego get in the way

• Time management and the ability to meet specific deadlines

• Attention to detail with a strong taste level based on continually being exposed to inspirational design/creative

Design Skills Required:

• Strong layout skills focusing on the spacing and hierarchy of type and image combinations

• Strong mobile first digital design skills for both E-Mail, E-Commerce, and social platforms

• Extensive knowledge of typography and type treatments

• Strong retouching and recoloring skills with a strong knowledge of Photoshop CC

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (other programs would be a great addition)

• A strong working knowledge of production and releasing assets/files for print and the ability to communicate with outside vendors.

• BONUS: Adobe After Effects / motion graphics experience
