We are committed to delivering an exceptional online experience to our customers through cutting-edge design, user-focused interfaces, and streamlined interactions. As we continue to expand our product offerings, and enhance our digital presence, we are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our tight-knit Product and Tech team.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with a strong passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that drive customer engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of user behavior, and a proven track record of crafting intuitive and effective ecommerce experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to shape the future of our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve designs and user interactions.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and translate them into design solutions that balance user experience with business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth handoff of design assets, provide guidance during the implementation phase, and address any design-related issues that arise.
• Conduct thorough competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure our UI designs remain innovative and relevant.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate wireframes and user flows into high-fidelity UI designs that embody our brand's visual identity while prioritizing user-centered design principles.
• Develop responsive designs that ensure an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Proactively contribute to the evolution of our design system, including design patterns, guidelines, and UI components, to maintain design consistency and efficiency.
• Actively seek and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a collaborative and creative design environment.
• Create pixel-perfect UI assets, including icons, buttons, banners, and other visual elements, maintaining a consistent and cohesive design language throughout the website.

Qualifications:

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects with an emphasis on ecommerce and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of front-end development principles is a plus.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual art and/or a related field. Bootcamp graduates are welcome.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale.
• 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on designing for ecommerce platforms.
