Who are you?

As a UX Designer, you will provide design leadership and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing to create user-centered designs that are innovative and user-friendly. You are comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic pace of early stage start ups. As a product designer, you understand how to drive design to meet business goals and are comfortable contributing to the larger product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership by setting the vision and strategy for exceptional user experiences
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer support & compliance to design, build, and launch delightful user experiences across web and mobile apps
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
• Use feedback from A/B testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive design decisions and requirements.
• Manage multiple products and priorities with clear and measurable goals
• Design intuitive and engaging user interface designs and interactions for our mobile application.
• Work closely with Product & Engineering for prototyping, design requirements, and delivery of features
• Develop and maintain a design system, while continuing to make improvements inline with our users’ evolving needs.
• Pioneer user research, user testing, and analysis to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences. Champion the voice of the customer by turning customer feedback into valuable features.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing your UX design process and the ability to solve complex mobile application design challenges.
• 5+ years of UX design experience preferably at start-ups and technology companies, familiarity with FinTech products is a plus
• Strong Figma experience and deep knowledge of mobile native design guidelines, platform-specific constraints, and best practices for iOS and Android.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience designing and building direct-to-customer web and mobile apps with deep attention to detail and passion for creating delightful customer experiences.
• A self-starter with excellent listening & communication skills and attention to detail ability to present and advocate for design decisions.
