Database Administrator - Remote | Wfh

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Database Administrator to join our team in a remote capacity. Although this position allows you to work remotely, please note that candidates are required to report on-site in Harrisburg, PA at the beginning of their contract to pick up equipment.
Responsibilities
As a Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive system administrative support for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Your key responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and maintaining the database system to ensure optimal performance of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
Upholding compliance with HMIS data standards, policies, and procedures.
Collaborating with the HMIS vendor and users to address data quality issues and ensure adherence to standards.
Evaluating and testing database upgrades while safeguarding data integrity.
Generating ad hoc queries and reports to assist users in utilizing HMIS data effectively.
Crafting, developing, and managing queries and reports using HMIS data.
Identifying and resolving data quality issues within HMIS through vigilant monitoring and analysis.
Aiding in compiling data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Offering technical and analytic support to end users.
Providing Helpdesk support through user-submitted tickets.
Staying updated on the latest developments in HMIS through continuous learning and training.
Utilizing analyzed HMIS data to potentially recommend program enhancements.
Providing advanced technical assistance related to HMIS data.
Required Skills/Experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Business Analysis: 3 years of relevant experience.
Customer Service: 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
SQL Query Knowledge: 3 years of hands-on experience.
Third-Party Application Experience: 3 years of experience working with third-party applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
