Role Overview
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our business growth by generating new leads, developing existing customer relationships, and delivering top-notch technical solutions. Your consultative and value-based selling approach will allow you to thrive in this performance-driven environment. If you have a background in materials science, engineering, physics, or chemistry, and at least three years of industrial and technical sales experience, we want to hear from you!
Your Responsibilities
Identify potential customers and projects, and follow through on leads
Conduct sales calls, customer demos, and attend industry events
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
Provide exceptional customer service, responding proactively to inquiries
Achieve sales quotas and forecast monthly sales
Keep up-to-date with market trends and provide valuable feedback
Present technical materials to diverse audiences
Requirements
Bachelor's or advanced degree in relevant disciplines (Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, etc.)
3+ years of experience in industrial and technical sales
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
Willingness to travel by car and air as needed
Proficiency in computer use
