Essential Duties And Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of driving software excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
Crafting and implementing quality assurance standards and test plans to ensure exceptional software performance.
Utilizing Jira and/or Spira Test tracking tools to efficiently identify, organize, and track defect fixes.
Collaborating with software developers and business owners to define validation processes, tests, and plans, fostering a seamless teamwork approach.
Executing comprehensive test procedures and diligently documenting results according to set schedules.
Owning multiple projects concurrently and delivering outstanding results with dedication and efficiency.
Engaging with Business Owners to conduct User Acceptance Testing and obtain signoff for optimal software functionality.
Analyzing and eliciting additional requirements from stakeholders while providing technical requirements to the development team.
Monitoring and controlling change management processes to maintain a seamless workflow.
Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics, identifying trends, and recommending effective solutions.
Ensuring project deliverables' quality and completeness by meticulously monitoring and reporting on key measures.
Qualifications (Include Education And Specific Experience)
To succeed in this role, you'll need the following qualifications and experiences:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related fields, providing you with a solid educational foundation.
Proven experience of 3-5 years in requirements analysis, system documentation, and the successful execution of test plans for multi-platform systems.
Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle, including various methodologies such as waterfall, iterative, prototyping, and agile.
Advanced troubleshooting, testing, and process skills, exhibiting your expertise in the field.
Proficiency in all phases of functional, regression, acceptance, configuration, and installation testing.
Excellent multitasking abilities to handle several projects concurrently without compromising on quality.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail.
A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Demonstrated capabilities in interacting with stakeholders across various roles, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.
Hands-on experience working with EDI files, APIs, ETL, and different databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake.
Proficiency in SQL language and working knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium and Jmeter.
Familiarity with Contact Center technologies and telecom systems like Five9 (Dialer, IVR, ICR), TaskE, Calabrio, etc.
Proficiency in testing management tools like JIRA or Mercury Quality Center.
Desired - Basic level programming skills to support your testing efforts effectively.
