Position Summary
Your Responsibilities Include
As a Collections Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence in customer service.
Contacting customers with outstanding balances in a professional, sensitive, and understanding manner.
Researching discrepancies and calculating prorated balances.
Overcoming obstacles and objections for payment.
Processing payments and accurately recording detailed payment arrangements.
Managing account adjustments as required.
Collaborating with the Collections Department to fulfill assigned duties.
Skills And Qualifications
High School Diploma (or GED) required, college degree a plus.
Minimum of 1 year of collections or relevant customer-facing experience.
Strong telephone communication and verbal negotiation skills, with an ability to communicate professionally and positively.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
Capacity to set goals, meet deadlines, and remain composed under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
