About The Role
We are excited to invite an experienced Growth Marketer to lead our marketing team as the Director of Marketing at our company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping our customer acquisition strategy and bringing it to life. You will oversee our dedicated marketing team, manage the marketing budget, and lead creative experiments to reach small business owners across the nation.
With each business we assist, we organically generate compelling stories and content that you will leverage to spread the word about our platform. You will collaborate closely with our Sales team to refine our ideal customer profiles and ensure our marketing efforts are precisely targeted. From traditional mail to digital advertising, and even innovative approaches like podcasts and aerial advertising, you will explore every avenue to engage small business owners and drive inbound traffic.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Director of Marketing at our company, your responsibilities will include:
Guiding all growth marketing endeavors
Developing innovative programs and strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and expansion across various channels
Enhancing lead conversion rates, close rates, and funnel velocity
Managing the marketing budget effectively
Orchestrating multiple online and offline marketing campaigns each month
Optimizing our website for enhanced inbound conversion
Coordinating our PR strategy
Overseeing and enhancing our content strategy and web design to maximize SEO
Collaborating closely with the sales team to define lead nurturing strategies and handoff points
Managing a small but growing marketing team

5+ years of experience in growth marketing

Proficiency in SEM, paid search, paid social, and Google Analytics
Expertise in SEO and content strategy
Experience with retargeting and lead nurturing campaigns
Previous ownership of a marketing budget
Proven ability to manage both online and offline marketing campaigns from inception to completion
