About The Role
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every new team member and hiring manager has a seamless and positive onboarding experience. Join our close-knit team and be a part of creating a nurturing environment for our employees to thrive.
Please note that the position involves occasional travel, approximately 50% of the time.
What You'll Be Doing
In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To
Collaborate with hiring managers to create personalized onboarding plans for new hires.
Train managers on the HR onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for all.
Prepare welcome kits and ensure all necessary resources are ready for new team members.
Review and fine-tune first-day activities and information to create a warm and welcoming environment for new hires.
Coordinate pre-start communication to keep candidates engaged and excited about joining our team.
Ensure success packets are completed at the site level, providing essential information to facilitate a seamless start for new hires.
Stay in regular contact with candidates from the moment they accept an offer until their first anniversary, making them feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
Who We're Looking For
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess
We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive work environment.
A high school diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelor's degree in pursuit of Human Resources or Business is preferred).
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources roles such as recruiting, onboarding, or generalist.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members and hiring managers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and make a positive impact.
The ability to multitask and stay process-oriented while managing various aspects of the onboarding process.
Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HRIS.
Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time and possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a safe driving record.
