About the Role
We are looking to hire a freelance Project Manager with a keen interest in content creation, strategy, and relationship management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a select group of clients, overseeing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will join as a contractor, and increase their capacity over time as our client base increases every month. Predicted hours will start at 5/ week, increasing weekly as we onboard new clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage writer coordination, task assignment, and edit supervision.
- Actively contribute to clients' success in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
- Propose additional tasks and upselling strategies to clients, focusing on providing value.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation in Notion for seamless collaboration.
- Perform quality control checks and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop AI-assisted content proposals.
- Maintain prompt and efficient communication with clients, managing weekly check-ins.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and writers, ensuring quality and satisfaction of individual client needs.
About You
- At least 2 years of experience in Project Management, Content, or Communications.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills complemented by unrivaled attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of content creation and SEO best practices and their integration to enhance brand success.
- Open to growth and willing to assume increased responsibilities as they arise.
- Proactive, quick learner, and continuously seeking improvement.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong leadership, time management, and project management skills
- Proven track record in Content Marketing
- Extensive knowledge of content analytics
- Familiarity with standard project management methodologies and tools, such as Trello, SEMrush, and WordPress
