Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Design and Content Project Manager to oversee the completion of content-related tasks in our organization by collaborating with all teams involved in content design and development. Reporting to the Creative Director and Art Director, this person will be responsible for the project management that supports the creative team in the areas of digital marketing, traditional marketing (OOH), B2B, and events. In this role, you will determine the project requirements and monitor the statuses of all ongoing processes within the initiative.

Our ideal candidate needs to demonstrate strong leadership, time management, and project management skills since the responsibilities of this role include supervising and providing guidance to writers, editors, and graphic and web designers. You must be familiar with standard project workflows and processes.
What We Want You To Own In This Role
  • Traffic all creative projects with Jira across all departments' work flow.
  • Develop and refine project lifecycle standards and product policies and procedures.
  • Ownership of the larger creative calendar, coordinating across all departments and ensuring the calendar remains up-to-date and all project deliverables are moving through the pipeline.
  • Manage contract renewals and creative deadlines for all OOH projects (ex: Billboard, magazine, etc.).
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders on creative briefs and management of those requests from initiation through to handoff of marketing assets.
  • Coordinate and execute logistics for events of various sizes and scope—plan, ship, support, and report on all events.
  • Develop, maintain and update files, marketing contracts, and documentation.
  • Keep Creative and Marketing Leadership updated on projects, prioritization, planning, and resource management.
  • Handle print fulfillment negotiations and management.
  • Assist with the scheduling, bidding, purchasing, negotiating and managing of 3rd party services.
  • Work directly with designers, developers, media planners, project managers and marketing stakeholders to ensure that all projects are properly tracked, scheduled and completed on time.
  • Facilitate all necessary meetings to ensure marketing deliverables are met.
  • Work with Creative Director and Art Director to assign projects.
What skills do you need?
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of project management experience
  • 5+ years of direct experience managing projects
  • Strong understanding of each step of the process (strategy, concept, requirements, design, development)
  • 3+ years of direct experience supporting creative departments
  • Experience working in various digital platforms such as Slack, Jira, Confluence, SmartSheets, MSOffice Suite, etc.
