Job Description

The Clinical Applications Support Specialist is responsible for providing assistance related to the installation, operation, and maintenance of the organization’s Clinical applications. Act as client facing contact to handle clinical support tickets and resolve application support-related issues. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.
Location: Remote
Salaried: $70k - $90k, depending on years of experience
Essential Functions
  • Maintains detailed software and system documentation.
  • Provides support and monitors clinical applications and systems.
  • Interacts with vendors and support teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization.
  • Provides technical support to teams within the organization, and to external partners when required.
  • Performs directory services administration (user access rights, etc.).
  • Educate, and train employees on use of clinical applications.
  • Incident investigation and escalation, troubleshooting issues with systems and software.
  • Communicate application updates, maintenance, and issues to organization.
Minimum Job Requirements
Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in health-related study OR 4 years’ experience working in clinical setting, rehab, or healthcare marketing/admissions.
  • Information technology, troubleshooting experience strongly preferred.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation
  • Must maintain acceptable driving record, current driver’s license, and insurability.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proactively learning and utilizing new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to requirements.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining users accounts and user attributes.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Managing time and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Working with internal teams to obtain in-depth understanding of existing applications, software, systems and produce high-quality documentation.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Utilizing and troubleshooting Microsoft O365 suite of applications, Windows 10, and Windows Server.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Explaining/teaching, complex ideas to multiple diverse populations and skill levels, including those with limited IT and systems knowledge.
  • Supporting users on complex integrated systems.
