Mohawk is looking for a Claims Analyst II to manage the claims process for a designated area, ensuring cost-effective and timely resolution of customer claims and a high level of service and support.

What You’ll Do

• Negotiate claims and provide resolutions that satisfy our dealers/end users while creating the most favorable financial impact to our company.
• Use your knowledge of defects to determine how to assign claims to the appropriate manufacturing responsibility to positively impact profitability for the company, as well as the quality improvement efforts of our manufacturing teams.
• Process return authorizations, credit memos and other documentation, and maintain claim records in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Use your product knowledge and understanding of quality test protocols, pass/fail requirements, installation guidelines and product maintenance to investigate, negotiate and make decisions regarding assigned claims.
• Initiate claims using correct defect codes according to product type and invoice information.
• Ensure the proper selection, assignment, requirements and performance of independent inspectors, installers or other service providers utilized in claims investigation and resolution.

What You Have

• Good voice quality that is both conversational and professional
• High School diploma or GED equivalency
• Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience required. Internal candidates with at least 1 year of Claims experience preferred
• Working knowledge of computers required, including AS400, SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Accurate data entry skills and the ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages
