Role Scope and Requirements:

The Baseball Training Manager position is a full-time, salaried role that works in coordination with the mission of D-BAT Baseball & Softball Academy. D-BAT's mission is to provide quality instruction to enhance the baseball and softball experience for players at all levels from Little League to the collegiate and professional levels.

• Lesson revenue to goal - % of actual revenue compared to target goal
• Provide coaching on rebooking and booking clients in advance
• Responsible for training and session development of all baseball instructors within the facility.
• Scheduling team events
• Responsible for overall revenue targets for the baseball business line
• Make recommendations on all instructor personnel decisions- hiring and separation
• Initiate calls as necessary to clients that are not booked out or rebooked for a session
• Build partnerships and new opportunities laid out by the General Manager
• Maintaining proper staffing levels for birthday parties, camps, and clinics
• Conduct regular evaluations of every instructor for both qualitative and quantitative measurements to improve performance
• Total rebooking percentage of 85% or higher
• Keeping training 4 days a week - (80% of high goal)
• Working through existing partnerships to maximize cage rental revenue.
• Conduct weekly team meetings on goals and objectives
• Attendance at Partnership Events

Knowledge and Experience:

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Knowledge on multiple technological platforms including MBO
• Passion for baseball, softball, or speed and agility, that is contagious
• College or professional playing experience
• Willingness to learn: An individual that is teachable, coachable, moldable, and a continuous learner
• High character individual that is good at relationship building, is growth-oriented and enjoys working with youth ballplayers
• Ability to use technology to help themself become more efficient and effective in maintaining their relationships with clients
