Job Title: Credit Analyst

Reports to: Credit Manager

Location: Goleta, CA (Remote)

The Role
The Credit Analyst will approve or deny credit limit requests in accordance with established policies and will support onboarding of new accounts, order release managements, and collections support.
A strong candidate for this role has strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial statements and credit risk metrics.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
1. New Accounts: Responsible for the complete process of setting up new accounts for those
that fall within defined area of responsibility. Assigns credit line within granted authority level.
2. Credit Analysis: Analyzes credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of
risk involved in extending credit. Approves assigning of credit line and renewal of expired
lines within granted authority level. The proposal shall include the degree of risk
involved determined from analysis of credit data and financial statements
3. Order Release Management: Approves orders in excess of line up to assigned thresholds.
Provides order management support for Collections, Sales and Supply Chain by monitoring
credit exposure and payment habits to minimize risk
4. Collections Support: Evaluates, approves, or proposes payment plans to assist customers
in the resolution of delinquencies during time of temporary financial strain. Familiar with
and utilizes Personal Guarantees & Promissory Notes to mitigate risk

Able to manage different technology platforms and workflows

$28 - $31 hourly
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
