Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Dealer Service Center (DSC) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Credit Analyst – TFS.

The Credit Analyst’s primary responsibilities are to analyze and make decisions to approve, condition, or reject retail and lease credit applications received from automotive dealerships.

The Credit Analyst provides the highest level of service to the dealer body and cultivates and preserves strong relationships with dealership personnel.

This role supports a portfolio that includes TFS/LFS, as well as Mazda Financial Services (MFS), requiring an understanding of the specific criteria and metrics relevant to the portfolio.

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitoring dealer trends; identifies and reports adverse issues.
  • Cultivating and preserving strong relationships with dealer personnel; solicits and competes for new business, understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Evaluating and negotiating deals as necessary to maintain the quality of purchases within established guidelines.
  • Ability and willingness to work 3 work schedules: 8am – 5pm, 9am – 6pm & 11am – 8pm, and every other Saturday.
  • Collaborating with Funding Team on held offering resolution and credit exceptions.
  • Analyzing portfolio performance.
  • Partnering with Credit Investigation.

What you bring

  • Ability and willingness to work 3 work schedules: 8am – 5pm, 9am – 6pm & 11am – 8pm, and every other Saturday.
  • Experience in retail credit, collections, dealership financial statements, and analytical capabilities.
  • Relevant years of work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fields of study.

Added bonus if you have

  • Work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to TFS.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
