Chief People & Culture Officer
Our client is a dynamic and growing nonprofit organization looking for a Chief People & Culture Officer. They are looking for someone who is currently in a Director role and ready for their next step up position. Their mission is centered on empowering a diverse population of youth to achieve a successful transition to adulthood through innovative programs. This is a hybrid position that will require 3-4 days in office and the rest of the week is remote.
Our client is willing to offer up to $140k depending upon experience.
Job Summary:
The CPCO provides strategic leadership for Human Resources. This will include Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management, Organization Effectiveness, Employee Relations, Workplace Policies/Practices, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, and Employee Communications. This will be a key member of the senior management team and will lead a team of 3. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR leader with significant Generalist experience. They will have a strategic mind, and solid cultural change and coaching skills. This person will perform day-to-day HR Operations and will interact with all levels of staff.
They are looking for someone to support the building and maintenance of a strong, healthy organizational culture - someone who is PEOPLE FOCUSED
Responsibilities:
- Maintain full cycle recruitment process

- Support the building/maintenance of strong, healthy organizational culture
- Lead people-focused strategy
- Manage Benefits & HRIS systems
- Supervise General HR Operations
- Direct activities/initiatives focused on performance management/staff development/learning
They are looking for someone who is/has:
- Willing to perform day-to-day HR operations
- Significant Generalist experience
- A strategic mind
- Expertise in organizational effectiveness (culture, change, transformation)
- Solid cultural change and coaching skills
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Proficient in Word, Excel, ATS, HRIS, payroll systems
- SHRM or GPHR Certification preferred
- Experience in high-growth, progressive organization
- 10+ yrs in HR field required
- Experienced supervisor
