The Director of People & Culture at MultiPro plays a critical role in shaping the associate experience and fostering a people-centric environment. Reporting directly to the President of MultiPro and with a matrix reporting to Human Resource leadership, this strategic leader serves as a central liaison between the people team and diverse business teams.
In this pivotal position, the Director of People & Culture demonstrates a deep understanding of integrating HR strategy with overall business objectives. By leveraging this knowledge, they drive transformative change, foster organizational alignment, cultivate leadership and management capabilities, and create a positive impact on the associate experience.
With a keen focus on consistency and optimizing performance, the Director of People & Culture collaborates closely with various stakeholders to define and implement effective models that place people at the heart of the organization. Through their expertise and guidance, they ensure that the associate experience is enhanced, thereby promoting engagement, productivity, and overall success within MultiPro.
Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
Bonus: target bonus is 15% of annual salary
Work environment: remote position with up to 10% travel
The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
Essential Job Duties
  • Actively participate in the development of operational goals, objectives, and systems, providing recommendations for new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually enhance the efficiency of the department and the services it provides.
  • Create and implement policies, processes, and training programs that support the division's human resource compliance and needs, while maintaining alignment with corporate HR, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Collaborate with the General Counsel and Compliance Department on relevant matters as needed.
  • Oversee the administration of various human resource programs, including leave and ADA accommodations, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to gain a deep understanding of the organization's goals and strategic direction, providing expert guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning, while incorporating industry best practices for optimal effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies aimed at facilitating associate adoption and minimizing resistance to organizational changes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team that consistently delivers seamless HR support across the division.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of the HR function within the organization.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the fields of human resources, talent management, and employment law, effectively communicating any policy, practice, or resource changes to field leadership.
  • Lead and manage division associate initiatives, including merger and acquisition projects, by actively engaging with key stakeholders from project initiation to successful completion.
  • Work closely with business leaders to define meaningful benchmarks and targets for key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that they are measurable, attainable, and aligned with driving maximum organizational performance.
  • Collaborate with the corporate recruiting function to set and communicate the talent acquisition strategy, positioning the division for both short- and long-term growth.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervision and leadership.
  • Experience working in a contractor (1099) environment is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in human resource management, with a focus on strategic planning, talent management, and/or business development highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Up-to-date awareness of emerging trends and best practices in the field of human resources.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions is desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong preference for candidates with Human Resources certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; master's degree highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
