Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Leadership: As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our plastics manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth, maximize efficiency, and enhance profitability. Your strong business acumen and forward-thinking mindset will be crucial in shaping the company's direction and ensuring operational alignment with our long-term objectives.

Operational Excellence: You will champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Leading our dedicated operations teams, you will establish and enforce best practices, streamline processes, and optimize resource utilization to drive productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your keen eye for detail and ability to identify areas for improvement will empower us to achieve new heights of operational efficiency.

Supply Chain Management: Overseeing our supply chain activities, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components while optimizing costs. You will implement robust inventory management systems, monitor demand forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes. Your strategic approach to supply chain management will strengthen our competitive advantage and ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

This individual has 10+ years of professional experience and has served in a senior role for a manufacturing business for 5+ years.

Special preference will be given to individuals with strong experience in the manufacture of plastic products or similar settings (i.e. those requiring high-volume highly-standardized approaches).

This individual has been involved in the procurement of machinery and tooling and understands the basic process and procedure related to the sourcing, acquisition, importation, installation, and maintenance of such equipment.

He/She is quantitative and precise; he/she has worked with a modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and understands how to develop and measure against targets.

BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or Management. Master is preferred.

Experience in a fast manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging manufacturing.
