Job Description

On-Site, Full-Time, in Los Angeles - Generous Pay & Benefits Package


Purpose: Compliance for a multi-site behavioral health network.


Req'd: Mental health compliance experience is a must. Please don't apply if you don't qualify.


Day to Day:

  • Investigate hotline complaints and initiate corrective action
  • Create new compliance-related policies and procedures
  • Respond to and track external audit requests/outcomes
  • Understand and conduct enterprise wide risk assessment
  • Lead compliance committee
  • Work on multi-disciplinary team
  • Present to Board of Directors
  • Create and oversee annual audit work plans


Qualifications:

  • Strong executive presence and board level credibility: able to appropriately challenge the leadership team and provide a valued point of view
  • 3 years of leading the function
  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5 years of compliance experience in a multi-site behavioral healthcare services business
  • Deep understanding of CA federal/state laws, regulations, and professional standards
  • Experience in a fast-growing multi-site healthcare business is preferred
