Job Description

Responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and achieve business objectives to include identify target markets, customer segments, competitive positioning and to drive market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and management of the company's brand identity, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints. Define the brand's value proposition, messaging, and positioning.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans to effectively promote the company's products or services. Manage advertising, public relations, digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as senior executives and sales teams, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including media partners, advertising agencies, vendors, and industry influencers.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across various marketing activities. Monitor expenses and provide regular reports on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives.
  • Drive the company's digital marketing efforts, including website strategy and optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, social media marketing, and other digital initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in marketing activities, including advertising, data privacy, and intellectual property. Maintain brand governance and guidelines for consistent brand representation.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Utilize data analytics and insights to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive threats. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and execute product marketing strategies, including product launches, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis. Ensure effective product positioning and differentiation in the market.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field, master’s degree a plus
  • Track record of parlaying brand strategy into actionable marketing objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in marketing principles, strategies, and best practices are essential. A deep understanding of various marketing disciplines such as digital marketing, brand management, product marketing, advertising, and market research is crucial.
  • The ability to stay updated with emerging marketing trends to include innovative and adaptable to changes in the market and consumer behavior and the ability to leverage new opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience.
  • Progressive career track with assignment rotations including consumer insights, brand strategy, local store marketing, promotions and events, public relations, and paid and unpaid media – particularly digital channels.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with trust and respect.
  • History of break through thinking and delivering unique marketing concepts and plans that differentiate a business.
  • Marketing leadership experience in a multi-unit, multi-state distributed workforce organization in related fields.
  • Strong analytical mindset and be comfortable working with data to include interpret marketing metrics, track performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing campaigns and strategies.
