Why is your role important?
Reporting to GPG’s Chief Operating Office and partnering with leaders in GPG’s global management team, you will play a lead role in driving the effective day-to-day operation of the business. You will represent GPG in firm interactions, ensuring quality outcomes and timely completion of cross-functional projects spanning expense, risk, and talent management. You will also support the evolution of core product development and analytics processes.
A keen interest in product development, innovation and commercialization is preferred.
What will you be doing?
- Change management: Implement changes to operating model; drive operational execution, including ensuring projects have accountable ownership, clear timelines, specific and measurable deliverables, and alignment with firm priorities
- Risk management: Own oversight of risk management schemes, such as business continuity plans, risk and control assessments, internal audits and compliance reviews; promote and monitor training on firm, business, and regulatory procedures
- Annual planning & budget management: Develop and monitor business operating plans, including annual objectives and quarterly business reviews; own recruitment prioritization process and play lead role in headcount management
- Talent management: Drive design and execution of talent development, employee experience, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion action plans; play a lead role in pipeline development, selection, and training of the Program Analyst and intern populations; manage content and logistics of Town Halls and key presentations
What are we looking for?
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to write staff communications, draft talking points, and create business presentations
- Self-starter with high energy, motivation, commitment to excellence and positive approach to business challenges
- 2-5 years driving strategy, business management or project management in a complex environment
- Critical thinker with strong execution and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize competing needs, drive multiple projects concurrently, and lead cross-functional groups to outcomes
- Sense of initiative; readiness to take on a full range of tasks and pursue additional responsibility quickly
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
- Sound judgment and discretion
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $109,250 – $130,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
