Job Description

American Management Services, Inc. is looking for a Business Development Representative who has a hunter mentality and thrives in environments that push you to be the best!

We are pleased to announce the expansion of our sales staff and are actively hiring motivated professionals.


Your major role as a full-time Business Development Representative will be to qualify prospects, present ideas clearly, bring value to our program and schedule appointments for our sales team.


You will be expected to:

  • Achieve and exceed established weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Successfully connect with business owners and C-level executives, introduce our services and schedule appointments.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients
  • Develop knowledge of our services through internal training
  • Follow established processes and be coachable
  • Present ideas clearly and bring value to our program.
  • Log, track and maintain prospect contact and contact records using CRM (Salesforce)
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attend a full 30-day training schedule (required to keep your seat in the training class)


What we are looking for:

  • Wish to be part of a positive, success-oriented team.
  • Must have a strong phone presence.
  • Candidates who have work experience in collections and timeshare do really well in this position. (THIS IS NOT A TIMESHARE POSITION)
  • Previous experience in business development, appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales is a plus.
  • Results-driven attitude with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Up to 2+ years of prospecting experience selling business solutions or services.
  • You must have a great work ethic, be prompt, and be able to operate in a high-pressure sales atmosphere.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Schedule:

  • No nights
  • No weekends
  • Monday to Thursday 8:30 am – 5pm; Friday 8:30 am- 4:00 pm
