Business Analyst Intern Jobs

Description

The Business Analyst Intern will work on ad hoc reporting, updating/developing recurring reports, validating, and analyzing internal and external datasets to create actionable insights for key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

• Apply technical knowledge and expertise to collaboratively shape data analytics initiatives
• Gather business requirements from various departments and understand the reasoning behind the request
• Develop and build recurring reports and dashboards to solve business problems
• Validate internal and external datasets
• Document and regularly update sales systems procedures
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain a high level of customer support-responsiveness and timeliness
• Produce ad-hoc reporting to support business performance metrics
• Develop basic SQL queries
• Perform back-end work in Salesforce.com

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong data visualization/data storytelling skills, written/oral communications skills, and project management/organizational skills
• SQL Server Management Studio, preferred
• Strong analytic abilities to understand, digest, and summarize complex data to different audiences
• Excellent team collaboration
• Experience in database management (SQL), preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, advanced degree preferred
• Meet deadlines and prioritize multiple requests
• Experience in one or more statistical or advanced analytics programming languages/tools (Python, R, etc.) and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) preferred
• Excellent organizational, teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office applications experience, preferably Excel
