Role: Technical Business Analyst

Type: Remote (Dallas/Ft. Worth area candidates highly preferred)

Experience: Must have 7 - 10+ years of U.S.A work experience.

Communication: Must have great communication skills to interact with leaders and other Southwest Airlines employees.

Hours/Time Zone: Must be able to work 8am CST – 5pm CST! (CST & EST candidates highly preferred & more likely to get interview request.)

Travel: Must be available to travel 1 week to client Headquarters in Dallas to work (could be quarterly or monthly depending on manager. (Expenses paid)

Important Notes:

Business Analyst

• We like good ecommerce enterprise level exp.
• If the developer set up the collections in postman, they are not strong enough.
• They need to be good at API’S working at the collection level with postman. If they haven’t worked in the API call logs they probably are not strong enough.

(this team is adding 2 sr. backend java developers to build out the microservices. they also have front end react ui, so full stack experience as a BA working with backend and front end teams. UI user story experience also needed.) this is considered a superstar team

Required Skills:

MUST be very strong technically (will consider backend, front end or Fullstack Tech BA exp)

• 8 plus years US based experience

• Agile Methodology
• Responsive Design application experience as a BA
• Agile Methodology
• Mobile experience highly desired
• Front-End UI/UX user story experience
• Story Mapping Analysis
• REST Web Services
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic SQL and Unix
• Acceptance Criteria Definition
• Plus skills, any prior development is good
• E-commerce
• Backend experience with API Testing: knowledge and use of Postman and or Swagger (at the collection and token level)
• Personality and cultural fit are important!
• User Story Creation
