Knowledge & Technical Competency Requirements

Manage corporate card requests, perform periodic audits, analyzing and reporting on spending insights, billing discrepancies and reconciliation.

Demonstrate leadership skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Experience in database management (SQL), preferred

Strong data visualization/data storytelling skills, written/oral communications skills, and project management/organizational skills

SQL Server Management Studio, preferred

Apply technical knowledge and expertise to collaboratively shape data analytics initiatives

Gather business requirements from various departments and understand the reasoning behind the request

Strong Microsoft Office applications experience, preferably Excel

Experience in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point

Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of basic accounting strongly preferred

Experience/familiarity with software engineering a plus, but not required

Configuration of Cost Centers, Sales Offices and Plants in SAP

Preparation of Data Files in Excel for Processing

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Tracking testing and documentation of defects

Prepare monthly/quarterly financial analysis packets for management

Finance, Economics, or related major

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Assist in preparing monthly reports and reviewing for accuracy

Work with FP&A team to review and analyze data

Monthly spending and headcount reconciliation, actuals reporting, variance analysis

Gain experience with Content Management Systems like Experience Manager, SiteCore and/or WordPress

Experience with the following Google Marketing tools: Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Analytics

Document business functional requirements and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs.

Computer analytic and problem solving skills.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with internal/external entities.

Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business, finance, management, computer science, or a related area

Provide support to develop business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models

Support team in the ability to translate and decompose business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories

A paid internship that provides real work experience

Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge

Good problem-solving skills and ability to methodically work through complex issues

Conduct data/process analysis, best practice research; and visualize/present such work for executive management

Network with other interns to help facilitate knowledge sharing and gain further insights on Ryder’s operations

No prior experience is required.

Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills

General knowledge of the operations of a business – required

Use Ryder’s technology to re-engineer, standardize and improve existing processes, in addition to designing optimized processes for future release.

Experience with SQL (is a plus)
