Job Description

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Business Analyst for a 8-month contract (with extensions) to join one of Houston's midstream oil and gas companies. The ideal candidate must work in office 3 days per week located in downtown Houston. This person will support The Server Remediation Project to analyze, plan, prioritize and upgrade a number of system running on Windows 2008 servers. This project includes System Modernization, Application Rationalization and Cloud Adoption Framework Programs.

Desired Skills and Experience*

5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis

Thorough understanding of business requirements gathering and agile techniques and methods

Experience on server upgrades, ideally Windows 2008 and 2013

Experience working/managing a data migration project into the Cloud

Experience with physical server decommissioning

Plusses

CBAP or PBA certification

Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business Administration, Computer Science, or relevant practical experience preferred
