Billing Analyst/Accounts Receivable

Commercial energy client looking for a growth-mind set individual to join the operations team. Located in the Galleria-Monday thru Thursday in office. WFH on Friday!

This is long term contract position with possibility to go perm due to growth! Dagen provides health insurance after 60 days.

You will be trained on new system and be integrated into the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Answer customer inquiries on balance inquiries.

o Follow credit and collection policies, including write-offs and other reporting requirements.

o Ensure all regulatory and compliance rules are followed.

o Manage unapplied cash transactions to ensure cash application is complete.

o Post payments to proper account and transaction to relieve AR.

Balancing accounts and reconciling payments in systems.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

o High School Diploma or GED required

o Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance or Business Administration.

o 3 – 7 years previous work experience preferred, but not required

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point

o Ability to analyze information, solve problems and make quick, fact-based decisions
