Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including ensuring the precision of A/R ledgers, meticulously processing customer invoices in a timely manner, managing customer payments, adeptly addressing queries, and adhering to established processes and procedures. A Day in the Life of an Accounts Receivable Clerk:
Maintain the accuracy of A/R ledgers and conduct account reconciliations
Administer customer data, including new account approvals and maintaining audit records
Process customer invoices with precision and organize related documentation
Proactively resolve issues prior to invoicing
Implement and adhere to the company's credit control policy
Optimize cash collection and manage debt collection processes
Ensure payments align with contractual terms
Support month-end processes, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Promptly address and escalate questions/issues as needed
Uphold compliance with established procedures and recommend improvements
Qualifications And Attributes
Strong educational background in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, including pivot tables and lookups
Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a track record of meeting deadlines
Exceptional communication abilities for effective vendor interactions
Genuine enthusiasm for the field of Finance and a drive for career advancement
Familiarity with major accounting systems is a plus
