The Healh Coach Specialist assist members in providing coaching sessions on a host of health related topics.
The candidate for this role has exceptional customer service skills and utilization management experience to support the member.


Responsibilities:

  • Topics may include pr-diabete, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, health eating, exercise, prevention, stress management, tobacoo cessation and weight management
  • Products may include medical, pharmacy, disability, condition management and Behaviorial or Lifestyle Management
  • Effectively interacts with member to achieve an optimal outcome:
  • Empowers and educates the member regarding viable service alternatives.
  • Flexibility to work within business hours
  • Able to receive and handle inbound calls from plan members and providing initial coaching sessions on socalized health advocacy products.
  • Able to perform job duties including phone metrics and achieve acceptable audit scores. Open to coaching and feedback for performance improvement.
  • Daily work on computer with ability to access multiple systems and effectively navigate.
  • Documents interactions with members in appropriate system accurately and efficiently.
  • Broad clinical experience


Requirements/Education:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills:
  • Experience with personal computer using Windows operating system
  • Demonstrate the ability to empower and motivate members to take action
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
  • Must have high speed internet connection and able to comply with Work at Home Agent Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills
  • LPN/LVN degree; Active LPN/LVN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to deescalate a tense situation
