Job Description
Job Introduction:
Maximus is currently looking for a CSR-Call center at our Maximus Richmond, VA Location. The CSR will be taking inbound calls and assisting caller in enrolling in state of VA benefits. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, able to work independently and have heart for serving others. This project serves the medically vulnerable Virginians. To prepare you for this role, the project has an in depth training experience that includes nesting and a buddy system coaching experience to ensure that all new employees provide the highest level of knowledge, services, and professionalism.

This position will be remote; however based on business needs you may be required to work onsite at our Maximus Richmond, VA location.

Must be flexible to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 8am-7pm ET Monday-Friday
Training Schedule will be 8-4:30 EST M-F for a period of 4 weeks. (You will need to attend the entire 4 weeks of training with out absences.)
Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to the established guidelines.
  • Complete associated tasks according to the established guidelines.
  • Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
  • Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to the confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as requested and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.
  • Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 0 - 1 years of experience.
