Description

Job Title: IT Services Tier 1


: Act as the first line of contact for technical support for internal users, as well as for users of several companies we perform managed IT services for.


Job Duties:

  • Perform IT related administrative tasks such as creating AD accounts, assigning phone extensions, assigning Office 365 licenses, etc.
  • Manage personal ticket queue made from email requests for support and tickets created by phone calls that will take longer to resolve.
  • Some hardware support including replacing SSDs/HDDs, adding RAM, identifying and replacing damaged equipment, etc.
  • Some onsite support for users at the corporate office, possibility of travel if interested.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues and work on both common applications (Outlook, web browsers, etc.) and to learn how to troubleshoot industry/company specific programs.
  • Basic IP knowledge such as locating and identifying IP address, gateway, subnet, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Manage time to allow for follow up with users to verify resolution of issues or work on issues emailed into the ticket queue between inbound calls.
  • Proper documentation of user issues and troubleshooting steps taken.
  • Answer phone calls requesting technical support.
