Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 / year


Description


Overview


Under the supervision of the Director of Online Giving and the Manager of Online Giving, the Online Giving Associate will handle all aspects of digital production related to the Online Giving program. S/he will work closely with Development, Communications, Creative Services, and Digital colleagues.


We are looking for someone we can count on to:


Own:


  • Producing fundraising event emails.
  • Demonstrating ability to solve problems, meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage resources effectively and in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Managing digital advertising across platforms.
  • Implementing A/B tests.


Teach:


  • A/B testing and advertising best practices.


Learn:


  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and identifies new approaches and technology that can strengthen the program; ensures approved changes are delivered in a timely and effective manner.


Improve:


  • Offer technical expertise related to online fundraising, helping to improve the program on an ongoing basis.


Some expectations for this role are that within:


1 month, this person will:


  • Produce digital advertising across platforms and tracks ad spends
  • Produce and proof fundraising emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Become familiar with the online fundraising calendar and campaigns


3 months, this person will:


  • Implement A/B tests.
  • Assist with reporting needs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across platforms in collaboration with Development's digital agency.


6 months and beyond, this person will:


  • Brainstorm and track testing across digital platforms
  • Help ensure that digital platforms—such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Luminate Online, etc.—are properly configured to track KPIs.


Responsibilities


  • Manages email and ad target segmentation.
  • Ensures that pages, forms, and emails are properly tested and coded.
  • Implements A/B tests.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and deadlines.
  • Performs related duties as required.
  • Produces digital ads across platforms and tracks ad spends
  • Produces and proofs fundraising emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Handles setup of automated emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Produces and tests donation forms and pages.
  • Codes and tests HTML emails across browsers, platforms, and devices.


Required Education, Experience & Skills


Required Education & Certifications


Bachelor's degree and two years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Required Experience


  • Familiarity with digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience using content management systems and constituent relationship management software and solid understanding of audience segmentation and data integration.


Required Skills


  • Familiarity with UX and UI design.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Luminate Online
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Drupal, Raiser's Edge, and/or Photoshop.
  • Expertise in HTML and CSS.
