Senior Manager of Content Marketing

The Role:
As the Senior Manager of Content Marketing at Oro, you will be the champion of our brand voice and manage the strategy and execution of our content roadmap and editorial calendar. Content fuels our marketing campaigns and is central to go-to-market success. You will be a key driver of leads and brand perception.
You will be responsible for generating compelling content ideas that resonate with our audiences and managing the creation of that content, both through writing content yourself and managing other content creators. To accomplish these things, you will work closely with our global team of marketers, product managers, sales executives, and industry thought leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage a talented group of freelance writers and content producers, as well as a small in-house team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our internal team and external agencies to develop SEO-friendly content that accelerates our marketing and sales funnel and elevates our brand
- Own how we measure content success and leverage metrics to improve our content strategy
- Understand how Oro’s purpose-built B2B ecommerce suite and deep well of industry thought leaders can fuel unique narratives that are relevant to our customers and prospects
- Create and maintain a content roadmap to support demand generation campaigns throughout the marketing and sales funnel
- Have a creative, resourceful approach to content repurposing
- Write and edit copy for blog posts, web pages, outbound marketing, and other initiatives, ensuring that all content meets Oro’s brand and quality standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a B2B content marketer or content strategist managing in-house and external content producers
- Have a passion for storytelling
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus points if you have worked in B2B ecommerce
- Have a deep understanding of how to create content that fuels demand generation and ABM campaigns
