Starting Small Media is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Content Marketing Intern. As a rapidly growing media startup with a focus on transparent storytelling, Starting Small aims to inspire and educate the next generation of aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators. Starting Small Media features online education, podcasts, and live events such as the annual Starting Small Summit, where we bring in renowned founders from successful brands to share their stories.

About Starting Small Media:

Starting Small Media was launched in January 2020 with a vision to share transparent startup stories that inspire and provide guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs. Since then, we have achieved significant growth and have established partnerships with recognizable brands. Our annual Starting Small Summit has become a highlight event, featuring founders from renowned companies like Reebok, Stacy's Pita Chips, Kodiak Cakes, and many more.

As a Content Marketing Intern at Starting Small Media, you will have the opportunity to work in a hyper-growth media startup environment. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage social media templates for static and short-form content, which will be repurposed across various platforms such as Reels, TikTok, and Shorts. Each interview conducted by Starting Small will generate numerous clips, and your role will involve curating and optimizing these clips for maximum engagement.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software/can learn
• Passion for content creation, storytelling, and digital media
• Previous experience in content marketing or digital media is a plus
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices

Duration and Compensation:

This internship is a valuable experience-based opportunity. The duration of the internship will be determined at acceptance, with minus of 3 month commitment. Overall, you will have the chance to network with industry professionals and work directly alongside our exclusive ever-growing network.
