Summary of Responsibilities
The Investor Relations Associate will support the development and coordination of investor relations activities and reporting at a fast-paced and growing private equity firm.
• Client servicing: Serve as primary point of contact with current and potential investors to handle information requests
• Respond to investor data requests and prepare ongoing data content for investors
• Prepare and maintain all marketing materials and presentations
• Maintain database of due diligence information and investment summaries for investor presentations and reporting
• Fundraising support: Prepare and update various fundraising related materials (offering memorandums, diligence questionnaires (DDQ) , presentations, and responses to specific investor questions (RFPs) etc.
• Assist in the generation of quarterly and annual investor letters, including valuation commentary
• Plan for and participate in quarterly meetings with investors
• Help plan and organize investor roadshows
• Plan and prepare materials for annual Limited Partner Advisor Committee meeting
• Help develop and maintain various fund models
• Help maintain and ensure accuracy of CRM database
• Work closely with fund management team, including the VP of Finance,
• Fund Controller and Fund Senior Accounting Associate
• Client servicing: Serve as primary point of contact with current and potential investors
to handle information requests
Skills, Abilities & Personal Characteristics
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance and/or accounting, masters in accounting/tax/finance or business administration preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investor relations, investing (GP/LP), Investment Banking, or relevant finance related discipline
• Public accounting/private equity/financial services experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Strong modeling, quantitative and analytic skills accounting skills combined with positive
client service attitude
• Detail-oriented
• Self-Starter who is strong analytically and who can work independently
• Able to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, as needed
• Strong computer proficiency skills in MS Office Products, including strong working
knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience also a plus
