Our client is a highly profitable $8 Billion Revenue -size retailer within a robust and sustainable industry!

We seek a rock star Senior FP & A Analyst with solid modeling and data analytics to be responsible for collaborating with leadership in support of board meetings and financial reporting presentations, with proficiency in budgeting & forecasting, skilled in product pricing, complex financial modeling, P & L, and KPI analysis, SQL and quantitative statistical analysis capabilities, with Adaptive Insights, and Hyperion systems experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the ideal candidate is an agile, creative, strategic thinking, proactive & motivated self-starter who can hit the ground running with excellent communication, verbal & written.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create forecast models that provide guidance and insight for the company to achieve its objectives
• Proficient in communication with financial results regarding variances & flux in Budgeting and Forecasts, with the ability to provide recommendations
• Review and analyze financial reports to drive insights for optimal business decisions
• Experienced in strategic and operational planning processes by collaborating with functional subject matter experts in processes
• Analyze and evaluate performance of strategic initiatives on a pre/post net of control basis
• Assist in companywide financial statement modeling & strategic analysis
• Analytic proficiency in support of internal teams and model pricing strategies for products
• Skilled in scalable Financial modeling and processes to drive automation and build efficiencies across the organization
• Support the revenue planning process for development of monthly forecast and annual operating plan
• Review forecasts with business stakeholders and finance leadership, highlighting areas of opportunity and risk
• Track KPIs and prepare recurring financial reports in partnership with Accounting and business stakeholders
• Experienced in strategic planning and valued business partner with leadership and internal stakeholders, with revenue planning, financial analysis, complex business modeling
• Perform research and analysis as required by leadership
• Knowledge in the development & streamlining of business process improvements within Financial Modeling with successful outcomes
• Ensure accurate reporting of all financial metrics and key performance indicators to the leadership team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Verbal and written communication skills; ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
• Experienced in working with C-Suite on budgeting and forecasting
• 4+ years combined experience in FP&A, in financial modeling, short & long term planning, within fast-paced environment
• Background in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or management consulting
• Solid Knowledge in creating financial reports and continuously updating
• Ideal candidate is creative, highly efficient within a fast-paced environment, is a strategic thinker, motivated self-starter, with excellent communication- oral & written
• Solid organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task to meet key deadlines
• Skilled in designing and implementing scalable financial processes, including creating and working with a variety of economic models
• Systems experience in Adaptive Insights and Hyperion, SQL
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Economics, Statistics or Finance related field required
