Job Description
Spotify Advertising Business Marketing team mission is to inspire advertisers and marketers to connect with billions of fans. The Associate Director of Spotify Business Marketing, Global will lead all our marketing strategy and efforts aimed at deepening engagement with advertisers & agencies globally. We are looking for a seasoned brand marketer who is passionate about creativity, an excellent collaborator and effective operator. We are a fast-paced company that requires leaders to be able to anticipate, react and activate teams quickly to keep pace with the market. This position reports to the Global Director of Business Marketing, Brand.


What You'll Do:


  • Activate core, industry tentpole (CES, Cannes, Ad Week) and customer-led narratives, inclusive of Podcasts, Measurement, Brand + Performance Solutions and Brand Safety.
  • Deliver new and strategically resonant messaging and sales materials, managing complex internal processes and multiple stakeholders to deliver deeper client engagement and significant business growth
  • Build our B2B brand leadership within the industry
  • Become a trusted leader within Spotify’s advertising business, partnering effectively with Ad Product Marketing, Sales leadership, Comms and other XFN teams
  • Be obsessed with the Spotify Advertising platform; our data, ad products, podcasts, measurement and enabling success for our customers
  • Anticipate coming changes in the advertising market and is a forward thinker in how we can lead the market
  • Lead a small but mighty team to partner with Product Marketing in developing marketing plans, support GTM initiatives; and sales enablement for product launches
  • Develop fresh B2B approaches that are rooted in insights, creativity and desire to breakthrough
  • Responsible for owning B2B Brand architecture, messaging framework, brand value props and positionings
  • Partner with Consumer, Comms and experiential teams so we show up as one brand in the worldBuilds Spotify Advertising brand and supports global programs at scale, developing strategy and ensuring greater brand consistency in our execution across our product GTM and channels.
  • Support product value props, positionings, narrative, case studies and collateral for our ad products + solutions
  • Increase Spotify Advertising brand momentum & equity with brands, businesses big and small


Who You Are:


  • An effective communicator, collaborator and operator who can rally XFN teams to deliver Experience in global marketing, managing a global brand and understanding regional business context
  • Ability to present confidently and positively influence senior executives within the company and with clients
  • BA or BS degree
  • A great storytellerDemonstrates ability to deliver clear, fresh effective narratives and B2B marketing ideas
  • A min of 10+ years of experience in marketing; agency, brand, or sales marketing experience a plus
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills - experience successfully crafting messaging and sales narratives as well as analyzing impact
  • Track record of partnering closely and effectively with an ambitious Sales team

The United States base range for this position is $172,045- 215,056, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
