OVERVIEW:
The Director, Global Program Marketing supports the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, delivering new viewers and/or subscribers for our Kids & Family sports initiatives, and supporting our core franchises across multiple platforms, including Paramount+ and Nickelodeon linear.
This individual also supports the management of franchise properties and non-franchise programming and is the key liaison between Nickelodeon, internal stakeholders and external partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sports Marketing
- Proactively engage and coordinate with social teams to ensure impactful delivery of strategy and effective coordination between organic, paid and collaborative efforts.
- Marketing liaison with internal and external sports partners, potentially including show production, consumer products, sales, CBS Sports and teams/leagues/clubs.
- Responsible for expressing Nickelodeon’s unique personality and POV across the world of sports, development and execution of marketing campaigns for sports-related properties, movies and tentpoles.
CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identify incremental strategic opportunities to enhance marketing campaigns, drive acquisition, retention, and/or viewership
- Ef fectively collaborate with media strategy, creative, and social teams to connect creative ideas and build campaigns that deliver success with relevant audiences.
- Develop innovative and coordinated social/earned media strategies alongside Nick and Paramount+ social & PR teams
- In cooperation with Business Intelligence and Media Planning, track/manage performance against campaign KPIs; pro-actively reviewing data and providing clear direction to optimize tactics throughout the life of a campaign.
- Define the vision and strategic rollout. Rally marketing teams, agencies, partners, and the company at-large around a single marketing vision and strategic rollout, ensuring breakthrough marketing strategies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Impeccable communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- 8+ years experience in film or series marketing, preferably with prior responsibility for launching Kids & Family and/or Sports Programming
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities and collaborators
- Prior experience working with NFL preferred
- Prior experience working in/with D2C service and/or streaming business preferred
- Successful track record driving awareness, interest, viewing and (where applicable) TVOD revenue/SVOD subscriptions for top tier entertainment IP
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
- Experience and ability to interpret analytics and apply research to make informed recommendations
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive knowledge of social media, digital ecosystems and influencer programs
- Extensive experience with core marketing software, including Microsoft and Google ecosystems: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Google Suite, Slack
- Passion and fluency with kids & family entertainment, as well as, sports/fan culture.
- A team player with a positive attitude and excellent sense of humor
