Junior Marketing Associate, Global Marketing (Emerging Markets) - Maybelline

Overview: The Junior Marketing Associate will support the Emerging Markets Face and Collections team to deliver strong growth and innovation plans, champion brand awareness and elevate brand equity in the markets. They will be responsible for collecting consumer data and market insights from Zones and Drive countries and synthesizing into actionable briefs for the face category.

Job Responsibilities

• Create strong partnerships with cross-functional partners through regular catch-up meetings and emails
• Create Magellan briefs, Compass codes and Cosmo codes for new product innovation
• Open/manage vendor purchase orders
• Lead an EM-specific innovation project to present to Senior Management
• Collect insights for the Face and collections categories including consumer, market, competitor and influencer data to influence growth strategies for the category
• Partner closely with Developed World team to gain a deep understanding of Master Plan projects and inform on EM-specific needs/opportunities
• Gather feedback from Zones and key markets (South Asia, Latin America, Middle East, North & Sub-Saharan Africa) to inform and support creation of product concepts and creative briefs
• Champion operational excellence in development for 3 different zones
• Organize and ship out product samples to key partners within organization – competitor samples, formula submissions, product mock-ups, etc.

Job Requirements

• Graduated within the last 12 months
• Information & Data management
• Prioritization & Organization Skills
• Previous internship experience
• PC Proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
• Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment where communication and organizational skills are a must
• Quantitative data analysis skills
• Eye for detail
• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related functions
• Authorization to work in the US on a long-term basis without requiring assistance
