Lead and coordinate business operations including enterprise-wide credentialing and card services, including access control, finance, project management, customer service, business intelligence and information technology. In partnership with division colleagues, ensure that all areas are optimally positioned for success for Communications/Marketing and Human Resources (HR) Services. Coordinate and support existing and new departments and collaborations across the Institute. Perform a wide variety of duties in direct support of leadership's strategic and administrative activities and responsibilities for the division. Support the leadership in the daily responsibilities associated with the division. Responsible for establishing group/departmental/division goals, determining the resources needed to meet those goals, assessing group/departmental/division performance feedback, and making pay decisions. This position will interact on a regular basis with: division and institute leadership, University System of Georgia representatives, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel departmental and divisional leadership.

Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Lead strategic initiatives and project prioritization and implementation to ensure that optimal operational efficiency and state of the art integrated services for the GT community
Job Duty 2 -
Lead and coordinate the Division's Business Operations including enterprise wide credentialing and card services, including access control, Finance, Project Management, Communications/Marketing, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, and Human Resources (HR) Services.
Job Duty 3 -
Lead department wide financial and strategic initiatives including 10-year capital planning, fee and rate proposals, 5-year business plans to ensure that all are aligned with institute and system wide goals and represent long-term strategic stewardship of institute resources
Job Duty 4 -
Partner with the leadership team to direct, organize, and monitor routine and strategic financial and administrative functions and performance. Verify major initiatives support the goals and mission as defined in the strategic plan.
Job Duty 5 -
Represent and/or accompany the Vice President as requested
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in finance or business
related field
Required Experience
Ten to fifteen years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's of Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Economics or related field
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Travel Requirement: 10% - 25%. This position requires the ability to travel.

This job requires an advanced level of knowledge of financial and administrative management
practices within the executive management level of higher education
Extensive experience working within a university setting
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
