Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Dallas, Texas. Architect, design, and implement strategic business initiatives that enable the firm to provide best customer experience and scalable banking and lending solutions. Work as Product Manager for banking and lending platforms and its periphery systems and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to develop, enhance, and support features across teams. Work in Agile methodology and run scrum team for banking and lending platforms and prioritize the quarterly deliveries and sprint activities based on business. Work with banking and lending platforms vendor software providers to prioritize their product development roadmap and get alignment with the firm’s business and technological initiatives. Drive engineering solutions across application development, integration, production monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis for issues. Help with firmwide delivery and testing phases for key products and features and timely resolution of issues to get sign off from critical functions in the firm. Work with cross-functional teams to implement, integrate, and test the solution and data flow to firmwide systems. Work with Data Engineering teams for management of reference data and data reporting to firmwide systems. Work with Payments team to integrate lending solutions to move funds for lending product financing accounts. Build robust controls to prevent customer, operations, regulatory, and reputational risk. Work with digital product team to spec out APIs for Banking and Lending as service to integrate with Partners. Write technical specifications, work with several teams, and manage technical dependencies and drive design meetings with various stakeholders for consensus. Collaborate with business software engineering teams on solving business problems via the architecture and engineering of cloud native applications.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related computational and analytical field such as Computer Information Systems and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related computational and analytical field such as Computer Information Systems and five (5) years of experience in job offered or related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with Master’s OR five (5) years with Bachelor’s with the following: leading software delivery teams, including distributed teams (across geographies and time zones, using a variety of latest technologies and contexts); facilitating conflict resolution and building consensus within a geographically distributed development team; resolving software delivery issues, including experience with software delivery lifecycle, including multi-tier application architecture and data stores; architecting, designing, and implementing strategic business initiatives; triaging and troubleshooting issues and managing and monitoring production support; updating and maintaining documentation for team processes, best practices, and software runbooks; writing high quality Java code that is robust, readable, and scales; and continuous integration, delivery and deployment of software product using modern CI/CD tools. Prior experience must include three (3) years with the following: utilizing agile and scrum methodologies and working with Product Managers, Tech and SMs; designing large scale data-intensive applications, backend infrastructure and APIs; and writing technical specifications, working with several teams, managing technical dependencies, and driving design meetings with various stakeholders for consensus. Prior experience must include two (2) years with the following: architecting, designing, administering, or developing safe, resilient, and highly available distributed services in Hadoop eco system; software development lifecycle and infrastructure-as-code, tooling, and Jenkins; and micro-services; Spring Boot; Hibernate or JPA; Caching technologies and Streaming technologies including Kafka.
