Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts; report variances
- Preparation of regulatory reporting including annual audits
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Assist with management of all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P
- Additional duties as necessary
- Preparation of Individual tax and estate planning
- Prepare and publish timely financial statements
- Preparation of real estate partnership, S Corp, C Corp, Trust and Individual tax returns
- Support month-end and year-end close process including cash reconciliations
Qualifications:
- Experience with various accounting software administration – MRI a plus
- CPA preferred but not required
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
- Knowledge of CCH Prosytem FX Tax/CCH Axcess
- 3-5 years of tax and accounting experience
- Experience preparing real estate partnership, S Corp, C Corp, Trust and Individual tax returns
