Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts; report variances
  • Preparation of regulatory reporting including annual audits
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Assist with management of all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P
  • Additional duties as necessary
  • Preparation of Individual tax and estate planning
  • Prepare and publish timely financial statements
  • Preparation of real estate partnership, S Corp, C Corp, Trust and Individual tax returns
  • Support month-end and year-end close process including cash reconciliations


Qualifications:


  • Experience with various accounting software administration – MRI a plus
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
  • Knowledge of CCH Prosytem FX Tax/CCH Axcess
  • 3-5 years of tax and accounting experience
  • Experience preparing real estate partnership, S Corp, C Corp, Trust and Individual tax returns
