AECOM Capital Real Estate is an SEC registered investment advisor and institutional investment manager established to focus on large scale, institutional quality commercial real estate projects in U.S. markets. AECOM Capital Real Estate brings a unique skill set inclusive of construction, engineering, and design, as well as institutional investment management across both equity and debt strategies spanning several decades. AECOM Capital’s primary investment objective is to invest Co-GP and LP equity in build-to-core developments of high-quality commercial real estate assets. The platform provides joint venture equity alongside high-quality development partners, primarily targeting “build-to-core” investments in the top 25 U.S. markets across all property types, including multifamily, mixed-use, office, hospitality, industrial, and student housing.
Since its founding in 2013, AECOM Capital has developed over 10 million gross square feet of real estate across various property types and geographic regions, totaling over $4.5 billion in gross asset value, with another 9 million gross square feet under construction or in pre-development, totaling over $3.7 billion in development cost. AECOM Capital is currently is currently managing a $500M Co-GP Fund. AECOM Capital is seeking an Office Manager / Real Estate Coordinator to support our team based in NYC. This will be a full time in-office position.
Job Summary:
- Reports to Head of Asset Management & Head of East Coast
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting materials and other fund raising / investor relations related materials
- Assist in the review and analysis of monthly financial statements across a variety of operating asset classes, including multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, retail, and residential condominiums
- Coordinate contracts, billings, and other matters between building management and AECOM corporate
- This person must be a self-starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision and is comfortable working under pressure
- Assist in the preparation of internal quarterly reporting materials
- Select executive assistant functionalities, including: arranging travel and expense reports
- Position will provide the successful candidate with broad exposure to real estate investment, finance, development, and operations
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and make decisions with discretion. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, often at the same time
- Direct line of contact with office building management, coordinate all building-related requests
- Portfolio management duties include: assisting the Asset Management team and Investment team with investment-level asset management, quarterly reporting, and investor relations
- Work in an institutional setting in AECOM Capital’s New York City office
- Office management duties include: inventory management of office supplies and office-provided snacks/beverages, vendor management, coordinating deliveries, coordinating office guests, lunch/meal ordering, event planning, etc.
- Review and manage office invoices and budget
- Establish and foster relationships with within AECOM and with outside partners / counterparts
- Assist in the fund closing / investor onboarding process
Minimum Requirements

- BA/BS plus at least two years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education (AS degree plus at least 4 years of relevant experience, HS diploma or equivalent plus at least 6 years of relevant experience)

- Proactive approach toward advancing projects and completing tasks
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Undergraduate degree from a four-year university or college
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams, Outlook)
- Work well in a fast paced, process oriented, and collaborative environment
- Desire to obtain a fundamental understanding of commercial real estate investment, development, finance and/or operations
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with little supervision
- Experience working in a professional, institutional office environment
- A team player who is, flexible, capable of multitasking, and has an excellent sense of customer service and a "can do" attitude
- Comfortable meeting and engaging with strangers

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $115,000.
