Review month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements for legal entities.

• Focus will be on trading subsidiaries with equity products and feeder funds
• Financial and investor reporting including assisting in the coordination of annual audit reports
• Control the investment closing process for illiquid assets focusing on the functions of finance, treasury, accounting and reporting. Collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders, including portfolio management, tax and legal professionals; in addition to the operations team and third-party Fund Administrator.
• Prepare analysis on fund investment pipeline and liquidity.
• Manage a team of two-three analysts
• Interaction with various other departments including operations, middle office, legal, investor relations and tax.
• Serve as lead Finance team member for a new product launching imminently. This includes responsibility for the set-up and operations of a complex fund structure incorporating evergreen fund raising, commitment and call capital structure and slow-pay redemption feature.

The Successful Applicant
12+ years in a Finance or Accounting Role
Public, Private experience dealing with equities.

• Comfortable presenting to senior management
• Strong technical proficiency and ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment
• Experience with investor allocations and partnership accounting
• Excellent analytic and communication skills
• First hand experience with Commodity products.
