Key Responsibilities
As a Restoration Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide exceptional mitigation services. Here's what you'll be doing:
Customer Satisfaction: Be the friendly face our customers rely on. Respond promptly to all mitigation leads, build strong relationships, and educate them about the restoration process.
Project Initiation: Use your expertise to create accurate estimates using Xactimate software, ensuring each project starts on the right foot with a well-defined scope of work.
Project Planning: Collaborate with our Project Manager to deliver comprehensive and precise final estimates for invoicing.
Necessary Experience And Skills
Restoration Industry Expertise: You should have at least 2 years of experience in restoration industry estimating and/or insurance adjusting.
Customer-Centric Approach: Your track record of providing superb customer service speaks for itself.
Communication Skills: You excel in both written and oral communication, ensuring clear and effective interactions.
Technical Know-How: Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software is a must.
Location and Transportation: You must be located within 45 minutes of Salem, Massachusetts, and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Preferred Certifications: Current IICRC certifications are a plus.
Formal Education/Training
While a high school diploma is required, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, or a similar relevant field is preferred.
Physical And Work Environment
You'll be active and on the move, with walking, standing, and occasional ladder climbing. While most work is local, some travel may be necessary, including possible overnight stays.
