Job Description
:
The Vice President of Product Engineering will lead product development around IPv4 Advisory services. IPv4.Global is building on its success and great reputation to provide its customers additional services. The VP of Product Engineering will provide leadership for this segment of the business, creating new offerings and services.
This is a great opportunity for a middle or senior career engineer to use their extensive technical background and their business acumen to develop compelling offerings and amazing products, and share in the upside success of those products and services!
The VP of Product Engineering is responsible for developing new products and services we can offer to our customers to increase the value we bring to them. S/he will also improve existing offerings.
  • Develop new product ideas
  • Business cost/benefit analysis so the executive team can prioritize good investments
  • Train sales and operations team on new offerings
  • Write requirements
  • Work with Marketing to launch new products and create supporting collateral
  • Manage vendors/partners as necessary to bring new offerings to market
  • Manage ongoing delivery of product and services, continuing to improve them according to customer feedback
Requirements
  • The role will include occasional travel (up to 20% of the time) to meet with customers and uncover needs.
  • Working form our office in Times Square, New York City, Monday through Thursday is strongly preferred
  • Senior level leadership experience, at least Director or Vice President
  • A deep understanding of IPv4 addressing; knowledge of the IPv4 address market preferred, experience with IPv6 preferred
  • An understanding of network architectures, including ISP, cloud, data center, and enterprise IT
Compensation
  • $120,000 - $150,000 plus bonus based on the success of products and services launched.
