VP OF US SALES


Who we Are:

We are a luxury golf shoe and lifestyle accessories company, designed in England and handmade in Italy & Portugal. Our collections have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, GQ and Esquire. We have a loyal customer following across the United States, Europe & Asia.


The team is small but the brand is growing at an exciting pace and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and connected individual to head up and drive our US Sales.

What it’s like to be a part of the Team:

We are a small company so there’s no corporate nonsense or old-fashioned micro-management. Instead, we are looking for someone who likes the freedom of working independently, takes initiative, and brings with them lots of ideas and relationships within the golf industry. You will be supported by our management team but we are looking for someone keen to get stuck in, who is a real team leader. This is a big role and we are looking for a key individual to join our senior management team.


A bit about the Role:

·Devising strategies for driving sales growth across the US wholesale business.

·Analysing existing approaches to sales and making changes where appropriate.

·Managing an existing team of independent sales reps

·Setting aspirational but achievable sales targets for the reps

·Implementing new sales initiatives

·Working closely with sales reps to generate new business within large accounts.

·Managing and growing house accounts

·Working with key accounts to ensure sell through remains strong

·Identifying sales opportunities as a result of market changes.

·Setting up meetings with prospective customers to sell the company’s products and services- via agents

in these territories

·Implementing sales incentives to drive sales performance for the agents.

·Devising strategies for driving sales growth across tournament programmes, resort lines, gifting,

charity golf days, corporate golf days & events.

·Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks.

·Working closely with the operations team to accurately forecast and monitor inventory requirements

·Working with the US Warehouse with regards to wholesale fulfilment

·Working closely with operations in relation to sales forecasting and reporting

·Initiating and growing the lifestyle side of the business through key department store accounts

·Negotiating sales contracts with customers and ensuring their profitability.

·Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support customers

·Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery.

·Represent the business as a brand ambassador in important meetings and presentations/ events.

·Be comfortable with getting their hands dirty, from event set up, to sales which is sometimes necessary

in a small business

Background:

·Previous experience working as a VP of sales in the golf industry

·Experience with footwear is preferable

·Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth.

·Natural leader and motivator

·Analytical

·Ambitious and target focussed with a drive to succeed.

·Good communicator- this person will need to liaise with HQ in London, and the agents in the USA.

·Travel is essential in this role.
